Sabana—an Ontario-made, artisan-style, Latin cheese maker—combines a rich history, exceptional quality and truly fresh taste. Sabana is inspired in the Venezuelan prairie (sabana) where cowboys (llaneros) take their cows for pasture at dawn so they produce good milk. At Sabana, we use Ontario, fresh, cow’s milk to make cheese like Queso Fresco, Queso Blanco, and Queso Cotija, following Latin traditions: our products are hand-made and hand-stirred in an old-fashioned way. Sabana was born to share traditions and deliver memorable food experiences.
